Samsung's Knox Vault security is usually only reserved for their flagship and enterprise models, so is a welcome addition to the A55. It stores critical data such as PIN codes and passwords and also protects device encryption keys and users’ private data on a secure chipset that is separate from the main one.
This means that you are protected not just from pirate apps trying to read your data but also the physical theft of data as the vault itself has its own passwords should your phone get stolen.
Gorilla Glass Victus Plus and IP67 dust and water resistance helps to protect the phone from drips and drops.
Samsung is closing the gap on features and designs between its premium and mid-range phone models, and their latest offering is no exception.
