What is an eSIM?

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is similar to a traditional plastic SIM card that you may have in your phone now, except it is digital version installed onto your phone – you then use it as normal to use your mobile plan from your network provider. Many phone manufacturers now make their phones eSIM compatible, but not all.

How to check if your phone is eSIM compatible

If your phone is not listed here but you want to check if it is eSIM compatible, you can dial *#06# on your phone’s keypad. This will then display your phone’s information such as its IMEI. If you also can see a 32-digit EID number displayed, then your phone is eSIM compatible.
